MRT

The MRT station is located just before Hong Kong Disneyland Park. You can make a trip explore the other parts of Hong Kong from here.  The train coaches are all decorated with Mickey's logo. There are also carious statuettes of Disney characters displayed here (Tinkerbell is shown above)

Baby Care & First Aid

Tucked away in a quiet cosy corner is the First Aid Center and Baby Care room. It's right beside the Corner Cafe at the end of Main Street.
The Baby Change area - which is always busy! There are 2 nursing rooms here as well. Mothers will have to queue. Everything is orderly as there's a cast member in charge there. If there nursing rooms are full, they will give a call to the First Aid center and check whether there are any empty rooms over there which you can use instead.

Nicely decorated baby care center
The First Aid center has rooms equipped with basic medical facilities & bed.

Strollers at the Fire Dept.

Stroller rental is available on Main Street USA on the left side once you enter the park. It's on the ground floor of the Fire Dept. You can easily park the strollers at the parking bays at the various rides.

Main Street Vehicles

Hitch a ride aboard a taxi or other period vehicles on Main Street! Remember to get your photos taken as well!

Plaza Inn

This is Chinese fine dining at its best at Hong Kong Disneyland! Plaza Inn has great ambience for Chinese sit-down meals for the entire family. Cantonese-style Dim Sum is served here in the morning from 10am onwards.

Wantan noodles, Lotus leaf rice and Yangchow Fried Rice. Price is very much higher here but food was good.

The Chinese paintings on the wall are inspired by Disney's Mulan.

Market House Bakery

If you are looking for a quick bite just before the start of the Disney parade, just go to the bakery along Main Street USA for pastries, cakes, breads, buns, desserts and drinks. I like their Mickey Mouse shaped jelly and pudding!

Crystal Arts

This is a souvenier shop selling Disney inspired crystal art along Main Street USA

The creation of crystal masterpieces by the expert can be viewed live here.

Such cute and adorable figurines! Huge selection here!

Riverview Cafe

Riverview Cafe is an ideal restaurant for family meals. It's perched on a hill overlooking the Jungle River Cruise ride in Adventureland.

Food served here are mainly from South-east Asia and China. Mostly set menus but a la carte also available. Shown here is a plate of fried rice and soup. Food is good but pricier compared to the self-service eateries. Toilets are available in the restaurant.

Tahitian Terrace

 Hainan Chicken Rice

 Indian vegetarian

Tahitian Terrace is located in Adventureland - offering South-eastern Asian cuisine. Self-service. Food was good but I forgot to take a photo of the eatery.

Tarzan Island

To get to Tarzan Island and visit Tarzan's Treehouse, you need to use a ferry to cross the river.

Then you can climb up the wooden stairs and walk the suspension bridge

You will see the entire story of Tarzan retold in various scenes depicted in the Treehouse. Like this one, it's a scene of Sabor the Jaguar.

There are also open page 'storybooks' placed at every scene to tell the story in English and Chinese characters.

View of the jetty from up above the Treehouse

The night view is splendid - Adventureland is lit up with fire torches. Don't miss this 'adventure'!

Jungle River Cruise

Expect a long queue for this river cruise at Adventureland! But fret not, you queue in comfort with fans blowing above you and shaded under a roof. Make sure you are in the correct queue as the cruise is conducted in 3 languages : English, Putonghua and Cantonese. The queue for the cruise in English is quite fast. See pics below of some of the sights and sounds along the cruise - not to mention a few surprises along the way!
